Equal Access to Care
Accessibility & Nondiscrimination Notice
Effective date: August 12, 2026
Nondiscrimination
CAMHP complies with applicable federal and state civil rights laws. CAMHP does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, sex characteristics, pregnancy or related conditions, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or any other status protected by applicable law.
CAMHP does not deny services, provide a different level or quality of service, or otherwise treat a person adversely because of a protected characteristic. Clinical services remain subject to provider licensure, scope of practice, patient needs, and service availability.
Free communication assistance
Disability access
CAMHP provides reasonable modifications and appropriate auxiliary aids and services, free of charge, when needed for effective communication and equal access. Examples may include qualified interpreters, accessible electronic information, and information in alternative formats.
Language assistance
CAMHP provides language assistance services, free of charge, when reasonably necessary to communicate about care. Contact us in advance whenever possible so the appropriate assistance can be arranged.
CAMHP will not require a patient to provide their own interpreter when applicable law requires CAMHP to provide appropriate language or communication assistance. Availability and the appropriate method may depend on the circumstances and the person’s communication needs.
Website accessibility
CAMHP works to make its website usable by people with disabilities and aims to follow generally recognized accessibility practices, including meaningful headings, keyboard access, readable contrast, text alternatives, and reduced-motion support. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and some third-party content or services may be outside CAMHP’s direct control.
If you have difficulty using the website, need information in another format, or encounter an accessibility barrier, contact CAMHP. Please identify the page or information you were trying to access and the type of assistance you need. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information through an accessible method.
Request assistance or file a grievance
You may request an accommodation, auxiliary aid, language assistance, or accessible format before or during your interaction with CAMHP. You may also file a grievance if you believe CAMHP failed to provide appropriate assistance or discriminated against you.
A grievance may be submitted by telephone, email, or mail. Include your name and contact information, a description of what happened, the date if known, and the resolution you are requesting. CAMHP will review the concern promptly, maintain confidentiality to the extent reasonably possible, and will not retaliate against anyone for requesting assistance or raising a civil rights concern.
